Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst with hands-on industry experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that support business and product decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, AI, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
- Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for business insights
- Translate business requirements into data analysis and reporting solutions
- Work with cloud-based data platforms on AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Collaborate with engineering and ML teams to support data-driven products and AI initiatives
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems
- Document data definitions, metrics, and reporting logic
- Stay updated with best practices in data analytics, BI tools, and data technologies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of industry experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong understanding of data analysis concepts and statistical fundamentals
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with Excel / Google Sheets for analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with at least one cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Basic knowledge of Python for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, etc.)
- Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with version control tools such as Git
Nice to Have
- Experience working with large datasets and data pipelines
- Exposure to ML or AI-related datasets and analytics
- Familiarity with ETL tools and workflows
- Knowledge of APIs and integrating data from multiple systems
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment
