Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Salesforce Administrator with hands-on industry experience to manage, configure, and optimize Salesforce platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure Salesforce supports operational efficiency, reporting, and growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other modules as applicable)
- Manage users, profiles, roles, permission sets, and security settings
- Customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, and validation rules
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to support business insights
- Ensure data quality through regular audits, data imports, and cleansing activities
- Support integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications
- Troubleshoot user issues and provide day-to-day Salesforce support
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and implement improvements
- Document Salesforce configurations, processes, and best practices
- Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and recommend enhancements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of industry experience as a Salesforce Administrator or similar role
- Strong understanding of Salesforce core features and administration best practices
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration (objects, workflows, reports, dashboards)
- Knowledge of data management, validation rules, and security models
- Experience supporting end users and providing training or documentation
- Basic understanding of automation tools (Flows, Process Builder)
- Familiarity with integrations and data import/export tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
Nice to Have
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201)
- Experience with Salesforce Flows, Lightning Experience, and AppExchange apps
- Exposure to Apex, SOQL, or Salesforce development concepts
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment
- Understanding of CRM processes such as sales, support, or customer success
